Hedson Technologies acquires Edwin Trisk in the UK

Hedson is continuing to expand strongly and has now acquired Edwin Trisk in April 2006.

Hedson Technologies is a world leading supplier of cleaning and curing equipment to car manufacturers, body shops and tyre shops. The global distribution is very well developed through international distributors and subsidiaries in France and in the USA. The products are sold under the brand names Drester and IRT. The Swedish operation is based in Malmö and Vänersborg. In November 2005 Hedson acquired the company Herkules in Kassel, Germany with a wide product range of lifts, extraction systems and other equipment to the global automotive after market and industry.

Edwin Trisk, based in Newcastle, UK is a strong global supplier of curing equipment for the car refinishing market in Europe, North America and Asia. The brand name Trisk is well known and respected within the industry.The main curing products are a wide product range of infrared dryers and air moving systems for paint shops and plans are in place to introduce several exciting new products in the future. The management of Trisk will remain in the company.

The future Hedson Group
Hedson will strengthen its global position within the automotive industry and after market through the acquisition. Edwin Trisk will be incorporated as a subsidiary in the Hedson Group but it will remain a separate company with its own brand, products, distribution and organisation. Hedson will respect the separate brand names Trisk, IRT, Drester and Herkules and continue to work through the best possible distribution channels suitable for each brand and product line. Furthermore Hedson will continue to excel and improve in new product development, production, logistics, service and distribution in order to offer its customers high quality products at cost effective prices and continue the strong expansion.
